lessons learned, the hard way

I forgot breakfast this morning (was running late because MTA decided to over compensate with four (Q) trains to every one (R) train, I think they have a napoleon complex or something, big system small, fast trains) So instead of going downstairs to visit my favorite NYC deli (the woman is always wearing Chanel–weird–she also has a black kitten that roams around with you while you try to pick out your favorite brand of pretzel) and get a bagel, I decide to eat an entire container of Dry Roasted Peanuts. A big container.
Two initial impressions: 1) Yum. 2) These don’t taste good with coffee.
But I was hungry and my legs were temporarily broken. Now my stomach is upset and the promise of lunch in two hours seems like a terrible idea.
Lessoned to be learned: Dry Roasted peanuts should never be substituted for an entire meal, they are to compliment as a snack and never to be consumed while drinking coffee.
