Where I’ve been.

1) Cardboard Speakers (I wish they had better bass)
2) New Coffee Cup (it looks like a Paul Smith wallet, only ceramic)
3) The lighting is so great, I cant stop buying plants.
4) The computer where all the magic happens.
5) My noise canceling headphones (true love)
6) Piles and piles of work.
7) Paper samples, thousands and thousands of paper samples.
8) Doodling (Spirographing, only with the tilde and illustrator.)

Anyone interested?

I took a new job this week meaning I’m trying to find someone to fill my current position. Posting is below for anyone who is qualified/interested/has a friend who needs a (good) job.

Position: Production manager, New York

PEI Media, a media company serving the global private-investment industry, is seeking a designer to oversee the production of trade magazines, marketing materials, conference materials and books. The position is ideal for candidates who wish to build a career in publishing and communications design. Candidates must be highly organized, consistent, meticulous and have the confidence to own projects. Candidates should have an advanced ability with InDesign as well as a demonstrated ability with graphs, charts and other displays of quantitative information.

The position is based in New York City. Compensation is competitive and based on the candidate’s experience. PEI Media is a relatively young, but growing, company with offices in London, New York and Singapore. It provides media and conferences to professionals in the private equity industry.

Kindly send resumes to David Snow at david.s@peimedia.com

finished by Wednesday

The only thing better than this screen is the smell of the magazines when they actually arrive.

Time to catch up with everything else.

I’m constantly misplacing my Gmail

I’ve been told, on several occasions, that I keep a lot of windows open. Nonsense.
